Reports
Anyone can share information anonymously by reporting it on Nation of Neighbors.
A report ties a specific event to a specific location. Reports are broadcast instantly (once approved) to all members whose alert settings match the incoming report as well as all participating local law enforcement.Neighborhood Watch will not work unless you are an active participant. Please report the smallest of incidents and all the tiny details that may have even remote potential to impact public safety or security. Remember that plots have been foiled, man-made disasters averted and major crimes solved by the linking of the smallest of details that were reported by alert members of the community.
Report Rules
Report anything that negatively impacts public safety or security and has a potential effect on more than yourself that you have first-hand knowledge of.
You can also report any activity that your community would like to collect data on. Accidents, suspicious activity, stray animals, crime, drug activity, gang activity, graffiti, and illegal dumping are a few examples of acceptable reports.Missing pets and missing persons reports may also be filed with Nation of Neighbors. Your report, along with any photos you attach, will be shown to members near the location you choose on your report.
You do not need to limit yourself to reporting on activity in your local community. You can report on activity anywhere Nation of Neighbors provides service (currently the United States and Canada).

What happens after you file a report?
Nation of Neighbors employs both a rank system and a report scoring algorithm to help avoid spam and ensure report quality.
Reports filed by new members and anonymous visitors will be added to the ‘Report Queue’. Members with a rank of one star or greater have access to the Report Queue and can choose to approve reports, deny them for a specific reason or mark them as spam. Once the report is approved, it will be broadcast immediately.
Reports filed by members with a rank of one star or greater will be automatically approved and broadcast unless the report is flagged by our report scoring algorithm, in which case it will be added to the Report Queue.
Typical approval time for reports added to the queue is less than 10 minutes. After your report has been submitted you will be given a link you can click to check the status of your report.
