Bellevue is a great little neighborhood that sits atop the hills above Schenectady's GE Plant. Comprised mostly of single family homes, but also has many 2 family homes. Bellevue has many life long residents who take great pride in their historic neighborhood. Bellevue means "Beautiful View" Bellevue has two community organizations that hold monthly meetings. The Bellevue Preservation Inc. meets at St. Paul's Church on Fairview Ave & The Bellevue Neighborhood Watch meets at the Bellevue Reformed Church at Broadway & Genesee St
